Here’s this short poem by one of my old school friend with whom i just happen to interact out of a sudden after so long and happen to share this. So, I thought of posting it here for my readers. Could I ever-
This… This this this feeling that I get,
The thoughts so confused
Making me go to n fro,
Making me wonder yes or no;
Beats of the heart stopping and go.
All the lonely nights,
All those helpless plight;
Was it me or just her?
Was it meant to be so?
Could I ever be so lucky?

Good poem……appreciable! The repetition of word ‘this’ in the line “This… This this this feeling that I get” is something very new in poetry to my knowledge an it adds to the beauty of the poem as a whole. Specifically, this line can have many interpretations. The poem is small but clearly explains the variety of emotions and feelings of missing someone badly! I liked it 🙂

I’ll be honest with the critiques here – You need to work on the grammar slightly, and on vocabulary too.
Poetry is all about expressing emotions, which is what you did here :).
And if you really want to express them from heart, nobody is stopping you. Write more!

Yes you could slightly improve your vocabulary, but in any case, anything you write from your heart is a good way of expressing yourself, even if you mess up the words a little, you will slowly get better as you keep writing more, and take inspiration from other writers. But do keep writing and letting out your feelings. Someone or the other will always be there to appreciate you.

It is not easy to write poem and where as my opinion you have done well, I wonder if it is your first poem, If dat so you are going good. You got succesful in passing your message to the readers and that even with bit twist and turn.. dats is uniqueness of this poem… Will looking forward to read more.. Keep it up Varun.. 🙂

Hey everyone,its the first time i ever wrote anything,n honestly speaking was just something i came up with randomly.But with the kind of response you guys have given me,it has really given me a lot of confidence and i wont be underestimating my writing anymore.And am gonna keep all the above mentioned points in mind,n gonna work on them.
So i would like to personally thank of you for all of your valuable comments,they are a big confidence booster,and hopefully next time i will come up with something better 🙂
